Project (SIP)

I developed the tectonic resolution of the facade for my 3A studio project. This required me to address not only the geometry, form, and character of the envelope, but also its construction logic—from material selection and sequencing to tolerances and attachment methods. I worked through how different subsystems—such as cladding, insulation, waterproofing, and structure—come together at multiple scales, with a particular emphasis on how they connect to the building’s primary structural frame.
By the end of the seminar, I had gained both technical insight and design clarity, learning to see the envelope not as a surface, but as an integrated, preformative system that embodies architectural intent through its details.
